Transportation
The Ceide Fields are located approximately 8 kilometers north of Ballycastle in County Mayo. The most convenient way to reach the site is by car. From Ballina, take the R314 north towards Ballycastle, then follow the signs for the Ceide Fields. Limited public transportation is available. Bus Eireann route 446 serves Ballycastle from Ballina. From Ballycastle, you would need to take a taxi or walk to the Ceide Fields (approximately 8km). Check the Bus Eireann website for the most up-to-date timetable.
